I have received several calls today asking why our local newspaper, The Amherst Bee didn’t write anything about the Shelly Schratz underage drinking story in today’s edition of the Bee, Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
I have tried several times today to reach the Amherst Bee for a comment. None of their reporters or their editor was available for comment.
The Bee is usually on top of stories which affect our community. Perhaps they will cover it in a future edition.
