From the Editor’s Desk: GOLISANO STAY OUT OF AMHERST
From the Editor’s Desk: I was totally surprise this morning when I checked my e-mail. I couldn’t believe how many people sent messages and in various ways said they clearly understood how Golisano was trying to stuff his two candidates, Joe Mesi and Jon Powers, down our collective throat.
Amherst is a town of caring, well-educated people who can tell when someone is trying to jam an 800 pound elephant down our throats by sending tons of colorful flyers which don’t actually say anything.
Golisano will not taste victory in Amherst with his two parrots, but he will taste the bitter aftertaste of loss. His money not only stuffed our mail boxes but overloaded our garbage cans and lined many bird cages.
Golisano, stay out of Amherst. We can think for ourselves.

Tom Golisano and Steve Pigeon have stooped to the gutters with the campaign literatur to support Joe Mesi..
Joe appears on TV and needs a female to speak for him as he cannot do the job himself.
The drivel ending up first in mailboxes and then in recycling baskets or trash…speaks volumes about “IRRESPONSIBLE NY”.
Golisano needs to distance himself with the likes of the Steve Pigeons of the world.
I have lost alot of respect which I once had for Golisano.
If the Clintons associate with such people…well…voters should take notice.
I know that David Patterson is popular in NYS because he is trying to be a wise stewart with taxpayers monies…however this sound approach is not to the liking of many democrats in the Legislature…Patterson was snubbed at the Convention in Denver…perhaps there are others the Party elite would rather become Governor down the road?
