Jim Hayes’ Invisible Record Revealed

In case there is any taxpayer who is unaware of Hayes’ gamesmanship, please allow me to remind everyone of just a few reasons why Hayes should be leapfrogged and finished in elective office:

1. Hayes extracts political contributions from the taxpayer funded volunteer fire companies in Amherst (shouldn’t Hayes instead be personally donating to the volunteer fire companies?),

2. Hayes regularly extracts more in political contributions from Amherst businessmen than Hayes brings home from Albany (even under fellow Republican George Pataki, Hayes couldn’t perform)(wouldn’t Amherst be better off if the businessmen that Hayes shakes down were instead allowed to keep their money and use it to grow their businesses?),

3. Do Amherst taxpayers need to pay Hayes to remind them of how disfunctional Albany is in a weekly Amherst Bee column? Wouldn’t Amherst be better served by someone who can make Albany work for Amherst? Wasn’t Reynolds effective despite his minority party status? Hasn’t Hayes had his chance and blown it in the past 10-12 years as a ‘placeholder’ in Albany?

4. Hayes still has a chance to prove his worth before the next election but I’ll place my bets that Hayes will merely play political games and fail to perform as usual.

Got something to say? Drop it here.
