Patrick Kane Charged With Robbing Buffalo Cab Driver
Entitlement. So many of our highly paid, dare I say overpaid, athletes have a sense of entitlement. They often act out as spoiled children do. It’s sad to see it happen yet again, this time to a revered South Buffalo born and bred hockey player, Patrick Kane.
“An alleged altercation with a cab driver over 20 cents in change put South Buffalo native and Chicago Blackhawks right winger Patrick Kane behind bars on a robbery charge early Sunday.”
“Kane, 20, and James M. Kane, 21, were arrested at about 5 a.m. on Eastwood Place, off Main Street near Canisius College, according to Buffalo police reports.”
“The two allegedly punched the cab driver and grabbed money they had handed him after he told them he didn’t have 20 cents in coins to give them their change, the report said.”
“Their fare was $13.80 and they handed the driver $15, according to a report.”
