Amherst Supervisor Mohan, a Man of Integrity, Makes a Minor Mistake

August 10, 2009 8:32 pm

Some people have integrity, some do not. When someone accidentally hits your car then keeps on going without stopping THE POLICE CALL THIS ‘HIT AND RUNAND ‘LEAVING THE SCENE OF AN ACCIDENT.’

Supervisor Mohan did this exact thing Monday afternoon, August 10.  The police showed up at Amherst Town Hall to talk to Supervisor Mohan because a witness took down the Supervisor’s license plate number as he drove away after hitting another car.

Dr. Mohan was issued two traffic summons; one for moving from a traffic land unsafely and for leaving the scene of a property damage accident.

According to Channel 2 reporter Scott Levin, Dr. Mohan said, “I was not moving. I was waiting to turn, didn’t feel any contact. Nobody waved or honked. If I made a mistake, I will pay what I need to pay.”

Supervisor Mohan said he will pay for the damages to the young lady’s car.
