It is with sadness that we share the passing of longtime Amherst Democratic committee member Henry A Lopian. Henry’s wife Mary has been a member of the ADC, and served on the Executive Committee for many years.

We send our heartfelt condolences to Mary and family.  Please find information and arrangements copied below.

LOPIAN – Henry A. February 15, 2009, age 88, of Williamsville. Husband of the late Sandra (nee Chindelewicz) Lopian; husband of Mary (nee Fenzel) (Mitchell) Lopian; father of Michael (Linda) and Lawrence (Kathy) Lopian; stepfather of Susan (Richard) Harrington, Ann Marie (Michael) Kuntz, Kevin (Diane) and Peter Mitchell; brother of Annette Osinski and the late Florence Pronobis; grandfather of Thomas, Susan, Mark, Kailey, Erik and Sarah Lopian, Shauna (Dan) Hagen, Ian Harrington, Brendan (Meghan) and Michelle Kuntz, Max and Lian Mitchell; great-grandfather of Timothy Hagen; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday only at BEACH-TUYN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 5541 Main St. (at Cayuga), Williamsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 AM Thursday at SS Peter and Paul R.C. Church, Williamsville. Friends invited; please assemble at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Indians School or the American Heart Association are preferred. Mr. Lopian was a decorated Army veteran of WWII and was employed at Trico Products in Buffalo before retiring.
