Your MAC Champion UB Bulls have been hard at work preparing for their first-ever bowl appearance in school history. The team will be heading to Toronto today to begin final game preparations for the International Bowl, when the Bulls take on the Connecticut Huskies this Saturday, January 3 at 12 noon in the Rogers Centre in Toronto.

.

Your support over the years and throughout this exciting season has contributed greatly to our success. In fact, our athletics program has become a vital part of UB 2020, the university’s strategic plan for growth and recognition as a top university in all aspects, including academics, cultural resources and athletics. The Bulls’ success has garnered unprecedented attention for the university, showing the world that UB places a premium on excellence both in the classroom and on the field.

.

For those joining us in Toronto, I look forward to seeing you there and hearing you cheer on your Bulls. If you are still interested in purchasing tickets, you may do so by calling 1-877-UBTHERE or visiting the Bulls web site. If you cannot make the trip, please be sure to watch us from home – the game will be televised live on ESPN2 at 12 noon.

.

From our family to yours – Happy New Year and GO BULLS!

Turner Gill
Head Coach – UB Football

P.S. Help UB earn $100,000 for the general scholarship fund! In our regular season game against Temple in September, Drew Willy and Naaman Roosevelt teamed up for the exciting “Hail Mary” play that clinched the Bulls victory. Thanks to the votes already cast by UB fans, that play is a among the final four to be designated the Pontiac Game-Changing Play of the Year. Be sure to vote again now!
