Mohan Loses At Appellate Court Level Against The Police Union

Monday, November 24th, 2008

Supervisor Mohan lost his case at the Appellate Court level against the Police Union to stop them from hiring three badly need part-time dispatchers.  The cost of Supervisor Mohan’s lawyer was $47,986 the last time we checked but we understand that all paperwork has not been turned in.  That means the price tag will be higher and the public will have to pay for it all.

The Court ruled the Town Board is the unit which hires police officers, not the Supervisor.
