Crocodile Tears?

A tearful Shelly Schratz gave a speech two weeks ago at Town hall explaining how she was betrayed by the Benderson Co. concerning the gun club development. She even told the audience how very hard it was for her to vote YES for the rezoning of the gun club the first time.
At our last Town Board meeting she swore she would vote NO for this project because they didn’t keep their word to the people of Amherst and to her.
This past Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 Schratz had a private meeting with the Benderson people. After this meeting she wrote a resolution saying she will vote YES to the new version of the Benderson Gun Club site plan. Shelly is still the darling of developers.
