Memo From Shelly Schratz

October 23, 2008 8:37 pm

RE: Request for meeting on Monday, October 27th @ 2 p.m.

In light of the Buffalo News article today pertaining to the 2009 Town budget, I would like to request that the Town Board meet in the Council Chambers (open door, of course) at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2008 to discuss the budget with the Comptroller and any and all concerns or suggestions pertaining to the budget.

I believe Amherst residents are deserving of 100% cooperation along with clarity for any and all solutions.  We can then discuss our agenda items during the work session and hopefully come to resolution on the entire budget during the evening meeting.

Please respond to Esther no later than Friday.  I realize and respect that everyone has a very busy schedule, but please consider my request.
