The race for the 148th State Assembly seat is very close. The candidates are Amherst resident Jerry Schad and twelve year veteran, James Hayes. One might expect the experience of Hayes to make him the obvious leader but, NO. With only 23 days left the race is practically a dead heat.
In his twelve years Hayes has done very little for the constituents of his district. Now the economy is demanding things be done and Hayes is lost as to what to do.
Jerry Schad has challenged Jim Hayes to a debate with tough questions being asked concerning the 148th district. Hayes hasn’t responded yet. If he doesn’t accept I believe he will lose this election, and should.
It’s time to test both candidates and learn more about each.
