The Real Reason the Assistant Town Engineer is Suing To Get His Job Back

August 20, 2008 8:41 am

The best engineer Amherst had made an enemy of Dr. Mohan because of he constantly was correcting mistakes Mohan made on Town projects.  As Mohan, who has not been a licensed engineer since 1979, interfered with projects, he continued to make errors because technology has changed greatly since 1979.  Mohan began to become openly critical of Mr. Johnson’s corrections of his work.  It is very clear that when you go astray of Supervisor Mohan he will find a way to get rid of you.  Mohan’s record on this is black and white.

After several investigations throughout the years of Mr. Jim Johnston’s residence, the Town of Personnel Director, Bob McCarthy, and the Town Attorney, Tom Jones have stated more than once that he met all the qualifications of living in Amherst.  Johnson worked under Supervisor Grelick without any problems.  Grelick had an investigation into the matter and determined that Johnson met all requirements of being an Amherst resident.

Neither Tom Jones nor Bob McCarthy want to lose their high paying jobs, so they have flip-flopped on what they have said for years.  When Mohan wants something done he goes to the weakest links in his chain of command and tells them what he wants done or else they lose their job.

From my shoes I see a golden opportunity for Mohan to keep McCarthy and Jones under his thumb.  He knows their weakness and will use it against them when he needs to.
