Debbie Bucki: Kind, Honest And Tough As Nails

Deborah Bruch Bucki, or you can call her Debbie, is at present one of our Amherst Town Board Council Members. This lady is very diligent about what she votes on.  She wants to be as sure as possible that she is doing the best thing for the public. How does this lady, who is so proper, know how to get to the heart of a personnel matter or town problems like those associated with the Waste Water Treatment Plant?  She has the uncanny ability to look behind what information is given to her and to do her own reading and research about the problem.

This kind lady grew up in a loving home.  Her stay-at-home mom taught Debbie to be sensitive to the problems that people face every day.  Meanwhile, Debbie’s father worked as a Buffalo Police Lieutenant, a position that brought him face to face with the roughness and cons of the streets.  Hearing about those experiences, Debbie learned how to deal with difficult people and to face the problems of the real world.

Today Debbie’s parents continue as two of her biggest supporters.  Thanks to them Bucki is both tender and tough, firm and fair; all qualities needed in dealing with the difficult world of politics.

When this proper lady takes her seat on the two Monday evenings a month our Town Board meets, she is always prepared to discuss what is being presented that night, and to address the problems that are otherwise hidden from view.

The gifts that her parents gave her in turn helps each and every one of us.  Electing her for Town Clerk in November will not only bring into office a truthful and gracious lady who respects people, but a lady who can look behind the shield of phonies and false charm.  In this way, she will help keep the town from being ripped off, as so often occurred in the past.
