At this afternoon’s Town Board work session the only discussion was on changing the law on Condos. Supervisor Mohan wants to establish fair and equitable property taxes for all by :
A) Ending the misuse and abuse of the condominium law and ending condominium proliferation for the rich and very rich; and
(B) Adopting the Homestead option.
During this meeting several people spoke concerning the Supervisor’s suggestion. I took my turn and spoke stating Shelly Schratz should not be involved with any plans which involved anything to do with dealing with developers until the mess she was accused of is cleared up.
She became angry and told me to sit down. I refused her ranting and asked who she thought she was, the Queen of Sheba? Then I sat down when Supervisor Mohan asked me to.
Schratz most likely will be facing our Ethics Board and they will help clear up the mess between the Rubino’s Brothers, the people and Shelly Schratz.
