NBC Hires Luke Russert For Conventions

Western New Yorkers knew and loved his Dad, Tim. Now we will have the opportunity to learn more about the son, Luke.
Tim Russert’s son Luke will be a correspondent-at-large at the Republican and Democratic conventions for NBC News.
Luke graduated from Boston College this year with a double major in history and communications. He has had a satellite radio program with James Carville since 2006.
NBC President Steve Capus has hired young Russert to focus on youth issues. Capus said, “Never before in an elections has so much attention turned to the youth vote, and Luke will bring a unique perspective to covering it.”
