Letter To The People
Michele’s Ideas Are Not All Hers, So Why didn’t Michele say the hybrid tax break idea was mine?
It was part of my campaign when I was endorsed for the Erie County Legislature three years ago. I’ve spoken of it with the Amherst Democratic Committee including other tax measures.
I’ve brought it up at the annual Daemen College energy conference, and the Green Conference held at Buffalo State College hosted by Assemblyman Sam Hoyt. Her non-attendance as a member of the Erie County Legislator at both of the area’s two major energy conferences prompted me to have a discussion with her about the tax after an Amherst Democrats meeting at the Harlem Road Community Center. I suggested pursuing a tax break for hybrids.
So is she going to be taking other people’s ideas as her own for this 40 day plan and then you will give her kudos for it.

Thanks for letting me know that Michele failed to own up to your idea on her blog.
Trust in those running to serve us in government is fundamental to democracy.
I do not have trust that Michele would place our interests ahead of her own.
Hope she changes her blog to reflect your ownership of this idea.
