There are 4 candidates seeking the Democratic endorsement for the 61st NYS Senate seat. They include: Amherst Councilmen Dan Ward and Mark Manna, Erie County Legislator Michele Iannello and Joe Mesi. There’s no clear cut favorite at the moment but it looks like a candidate from Amherst will likely get the endorsement.
The Republicans are still talking to people but don’t expect Erie County Legislator Mike Ranzenhofer to get the nod for the 61st NYS Senate seat. There is a lady waiting in the wings to get this endorsement.
