Friends of the Fairways Group,

The Amherst Town Board meeting will be held this Monday,  March 17, 2008 beginning at 7 PM, at Town Hall.    It is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT (again) that you attend or send someone in your place.    We need to have as many bodies there that we can.   We need to fill Town Hall.   We need to show our Town Board members that, we the people, are opposed to this rezoning and we are here to tell them so with our presence.   Two hours of your time, this Monday and again on April 7th, for the vote, will make the difference now and for the future of our neighborhood and Town.
The issue before the Board is a simple one. Do not rezone from Community Facility to General Business.

Your presence is just as important.
Hope to see you all, Monday evening.
The Fairways Group

Stand Up Amherst. We have a new voice coming (soon) and our individual neighborhood associations and civic groups will be united under one organized consortium AMHERST HOME OWNERS. Our new website will be up and running at www.amhersthomeowners.com  soon.

Don’t be surprised if this gets postponed again, we will continue as long as it takes to remind our Town Officials why they were elected.
