Erie County Comptroller Poloncarz: “You have to remember that out of a total Erie County budget of $1.4 billion, the county executive and the county legislature only control about $100 million. That’s less than 10%. Still, we all have to do our best to keep spending down. I have told CE Collins the same thing I told Joel Giambra and also my fellow Democrats in the Legislature. I will support you when I think you’re right and oppose you when I think you’re wrong. It’s not personal.
