SUPERTENDENT ANDERSON’S REPORT ON TREE REMOVAL

A report was given by Highway Supertendent Bob Anderson on the tree situation in Amherst. He is finding many residents e-mailing him to fell more trees which had been damaged by the October storm.
Thus far he has received an additional 106 requests for trees to be felled. The Town Board will put more money in his budget to handle up to 200 new requests to fell more trees than had been planned for.
