TIME WARNER’S CABLE TELEVISION DISCOUNT FOR SENIOR CITIZENS

July 17, 2007 1:19 pm

nullThere are a few conditions which senior citizens have to meet to receive a 20% discount for Time Warner’s cable television service.

a) The seniors must request this discount.

b) The age requirement for seniors is 65 and up.

c) The entire household earnings must be under $17,200.

d) The 20% discount is only allowed on Basic cable which includes only channels 2-24.

At present seniors pay between $7.00 – $11.00 for Basic cable channels 2-24.

If the seniors multiply the $7.00 – $11.00 they now pay for Basic cable by the 20% discount, you could save between $1.40 – $2.20, so the Basic cable bill for Channels 2-24 would cost $5.60 or a little more. This is the only discount seniors are allowed to apply for if they meet the requirements.

All other channels you would like to add on to the Basic channels 2-24 would cost the same price as everyone else.
